Carbon offsetting in addressing climate change

“Carbon offsetting has faced enormous criticism, but has a continuing and growing role in
addressing climate change”, commented Tejas Ewing.

He has taken on an exciting new role spearheading an innovative Climate Change Adaptation
campaign at the New Economics Foundation in London - http://www.neweconomics.org/ - the
think tank of the year in 2002. As part of his new job at the New Economics Foundation, Tejas
will be speaking on 2 panels at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen
between Dec 7 and Dec 18.

He has published the second edition of The ENDS Guide to Carbon Offsets, a guide which explains
the principles of carbon offsetting. It explains the different kinds of offset providers, lists carbon
offset providers and also shows the top three offset providers who have the highest commitment
